Suffolk cops help LI teens get prom dresses

Suffolk County Police Department officers hosted Prom Impact in Patchogue to help students in need Sunday. The Fifth Precinct Alliance and the Suffolk County Association of Women Police gave about 500 new or gently worn dresses, 75 suits, 100 pairs of shoes and gift cards to rent tuxedos to high school seniors on a first-come, first-served basis.
