If you’re hoping to start your holiday shopping early, the Suffolk County police may be able to help.

The Suffolk County Police Department announced it will host a property auction on Wednesday at 30 Yaphank Ave. in Yaphank, offering a wide selection of about 100 items that include jewelry, electronics, designer clothing and accessories, power tools, bicycles and more.

The auction will begin at 9 a.m. and will be held rain or shine, a statement said.

A preview of jewelry and selected property will take place on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Among the items being auctioned are Apple iPads, a Canon EOS T5i camera, a Nikon Coolpix P510, novelty coins, Singer sewing machines, Cricut press mats, a Testors Airbrush Paint Kit, Walnut Hollow Clay extruder sets and aquarium filters and supplies.

Clothing and accessory brands range from PacSun, The North Face, Nike, Express and Uniqlo to designer names like Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Ray-Ban, Michael Kors, Versace, Burberry, Fendi and more.

For car junkies, automobile-related items include Maddox brake pads, assorted floor jacks and wires.

Certain items like costume jewelry, watches, yellow metal rings and white metal jewelry will be sold at the end of the auction.

Participants must be at least 18 years old to bid. All items are sold in "as is" condition and must be purchased with cash.
