Suffolk police release video of suspect in Deer Park gas station robbery

Suffolk police are searching for a man they say was videotaped by a surveillance camera robbing a Valero gas station earlier this month in Deer Park, flashing a handgun before fleeing with cash.
The armed robbery took place at 255 Bay Shore Rd. at 10:50 p.m. May 5, police said.
Surveillance video showing the suspect holding a handgun was released by Suffolk police Monday.
Police said the suspect is about 5-foot-10 and wore a navy blue hooded sweatshirt and jeans with light-brown work boots.
Anyone with information regarding the robbery or the suspect is being asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential, police said.
