Suffolk police: Ronkonkoma crash downed pole, closed road
A morning rush-hour accident involving a vehicle into a pole briefly closed northbound Ocean Avenue at Woodlawn Avenue in Ronkonkoma on Thursday, police said.
Suffolk County police said the accident was reported in a 911 call at 7:37 a.m.
Police said the collision downed a utility pole and caused some power outages in the area.
