A man robbed a Bohemia bank Thursday afternoon, Suffolk police said in asking for the public’s help to find him.
The suspect handed a note demanding cash to a teller at the Capital One bank on Sunrise Highway about 3:30 p.m. and ran off with money, police said.
The robber had a stocky build, a dark goatee and a mustache and appeared to be in his late 20s or early 30s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, police said.
He wore sunglasses, a dark-colored T-shirt, blue jeans, and a black and white baseball cap with dollar signs, police said.
Detectives in the major case unit ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
