Suffolk police are looking for a man who robbed a Farmingville bank Thursday afternoon.

Police said a man entered the Chase Bank branch at 2430 North Ocean Ave. at about 4:05 p.m. and showed a teller a note demanding cash. The teller gave the suspect cash from the drawer, and the robber fled on foot toward Horseblock Road, police said.

The robber is described as being between 30 and 40 years old, about 6 feet tall with long, dark hair and wearing sunglasses, a light-colored baseball cap and a white T-shirt, police said.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
