Suffolk police seek female bank robber
Suffolk police are looking for a female bank robber who stole cash from a Huntington Station bank Thursday afternoon.
Police said a woman wearing a hooded sweatshirt and dark sunglasses entered the Citibank at 300 Walt Whitman Road at 12:13 p.m. and showed a bank teller a note demanding cash, and threatening that she had a gun.
The teller gave the woman cash from the drawer, and the robber fled north, police said.
She was described as being 25 years old, 5 feet 4 inches, with dark hair and a thin build.
