Suffolk police seek robber of Bellport bank
Suffolk police are looking for a man who robbed a Bellport bank Wednesday evening.
Police said a man walked into the Chase bank at 32 Station Rd., approached a teller about 5:30 p.m. and displayed a note demanding cash. The teller gave the man cash, and he fled on foot through the parking lot heading west.
The suspect is described as being between 25 and 30 years old, about 5 feet, 7 inches to 5 feet, 9 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a light-colored baseball cap, sunglasses, a white T-shirt and jeans, police said.
