Suffolk police seek Shirley bank robber, police say
A man robbed a Shirley bank on Monday, Suffolk County police said.
Police said the robber entered the Capital One bank at 800 Montauk Hwy., around 5 p.m. and gave the teller a note demanding money.
The man got away on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, running south through the parking lot, police said.
He is described as being about 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a medium build and between 25 and 35 years old. He wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, a baseball cap, sunglasses and jeans.
