Suffolk police are looking for a man who robbed a Capital One Bank branch in West Islip on Wednesday evening.

Police said the man walked into the bank at 450 Union Blvd., approached the teller at about 5:45 p.m. and displayed a note demanding cash. The teller gave the suspect the money from the drawer, and the man fled on foot heading west through the parking lot, police said.

The robber was described as between 35 and 40 years old and about 6 feet tall wearing sunglasses, a baseball hat, a gray T-shirt and blue jeans, police said.
