Looking to roll into spring with a new-ish set of wheels, perhaps even score a deal?

The Suffolk County Police Impound Section will have 93 vehicles available for sale at its March 9 auction. Minimum bids start at $500, police said, and all the vehicles are sold in “as-is” condition.

The vehicles range from sedans to SUVs, including a 2003 Porsche Boxster, a 2013 Infiniti G37, a 2010 Mercedes-Benz E550, a 2013 Dodge Charger, a 2018 Jeep Compass and a 2014 Kia Soul.

A vehicle preview will take place on March 7 and March 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the impound yard located at 100 Old Country Rd. in Westhampton.  Taking photos of the vehicles is prohibited. The March 9 auction will begin at 9 a.m. at the impound facility and will be held rain or shine.

Honda Civics, Nissans, Toyotas, Infinitis, Ford pickups and more will all be available for bidding. Full payment is due at time of sale for purchases up to $2,000.

Certain vehicles with significant damage or air bag deployments are sold with MV907a Salvage Certificates. These vehicles are indicated with a notice posted in the window and will require a DMV physical inspection to be conducted before their registration and title issuance.

All sales are final and cash only.

Vehicles are sold on SCPD bills of sale with a copy of the public auction advertisement. No titles are given. Bills of sale are nontransferable.
