Sunrise Highway reopens in Manorville after crash

Sunrise Highway has reopened in Manorville after a crash closed the westbound lanes on Thursday afternoon.
Suffolk police responded to calls of a motor vehicle crash on the westbound highway near Wading River Road at 2:31 p.m., a police department spokesperson said.
The spokesperson would not detail the number of vehicles involved in the crash and whether anyone involved sustained any injuries.
Video footage of the crash indicates two tractor trailers were damaged. The smashed cab of one truck appeared to have separated from its trailer belonging to Holbrook-based produce distributor 495 Express Foods, Inc.
When reached by telephone Thursday afternoon 495 Express Foods co-owner Peter Montalbano said: "We don't comment on any personal business matters or affairs."
