An accident and a subsequent gasoline leak closed down the westbound Sunrise Highway service road in West Babylon for almost three hours Friday, police and officials said.

The accident, involving a parked tractor-trailer and a pickup truck, occurred at about 1:25 p.m. near Hubbards Path. Suffolk County police said the pickup truck crashed into the back of the parked tractor-trailer. Both drivers were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
