Police are searching for a man who tried to use a stolen bank card at a Citibank in Port Jefferson Station.

Suffolk County police said the stolen bank card was in a wallet stolen from Ntrigue Hair Studio on Main Street in Port Jefferson on Oct. 21.

A video surveillance camera caught a man attempting to use the stolen bank card later that day at the Citibank branch on Nesconset Highway.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the case to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
