Police are seeking a man who followed a 16-year-old boy into a bathroom at the Long Island Rail Road station in Northport three weeks ago, locked the door, sexually assaulted the teen, then robbed him.

The attack occurred on Aug. 10 at about 2 p.m., police said. The attack occurred in the bathroom in the main waiting room at the station, police said. They said the suspect "forced sexual contact on the victim and forcibly took his money."

The attacker is 5-foot-10 to 6 feet tall, 250 to 300 pounds and between the ages of 25 and 40, police said. Police said he has a large, round stomach and thin legs. He has either short hair or was bald and wore a do-rag.

He has a double chin, a mole under one eye and a goatee. There were also words tattooed on the left side of his neck, but they did not say what was written.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential and callers are eligible for a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest, police said.
