Suspect sought in Jan. generator theft

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Third Precinct Crime Section are looking for a man who stole a generator from a West Islip home-improvement store in January, Suffolk police said Tuesday.

Police released photographs of the suspect, taken from video surveillance cameras at the Lowe's store at 800 Sunrise Hwy.

Police said the suspect entered the store at about 4 p.m. Jan. 8 and left with the generator, driving off in a dark-colored pickup truck.
