Suffolk County police are searching for a man who they say robbed a Kings Park bank Saturday morning.

The suspect entered the Bank of America branch on St. Johnland Road at 9:17 a.m., approached several tellers and demanded money, according to police. After the tellers gave him cash from the drawers, he left and was last seen running west across St. Johnland Road, police said.

The suspect is described as thin and 5-foot-11 to 6-foot-1, police said.

He was wearing dark jeans, a black stocking over his face, white sneakers and a black-hooded sweatshirt with the letters A and E on the front with the emblem of an eagle, police said.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
