Suspect sought in Mastic Beach cell phone theft
Suffolk County police are looking for a man suspected in the theft of a prepaid cell phone from a Mastic Beach gas station in July, according to a crime alert from the Seventh Precinct.
On July 24, the man entered the Track Gas station at 310 Neighborhood Rd., went behind the counter. A silver Boost Mobile cell phone was reported missing, police said. Store surveillance cameras captured images of the man, police said.
