Suffolk County police are looking for a man, seen on surveillance video, who stole $200 worth of jewelry from the Kmart in Farmingville at 3 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2015. Credit: SCPD

Police said he stole about $200 worth of jewelry from a store in Farmingville.

Now, Suffolk County police are asking the public's help locating the suspect who got away with the jewelry -- but left his image on surveillance video.

The petty larceny occurred at 3 p.m. April 3 at a Kmart store on North Ocean Avenue.

Police said the man wore a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and work boots.

Anyone with information is being asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
