Suspect sought in use of stolen debit card

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Fifth Squad are searching for a suspect who used a stolen debit card to make unauthorized purchases for more than $500, police said Friday.
A man who used his debit card to buy gasoline at a Hess Station on Aug. 14 on Route 112 in East Patchogue later discovered his card was missing, according to police.
The man also reported the missing card was used on three separate occasions between Aug. 14 and Aug. 16 for purchases totaling more than $500.
Police on Friday released photographs of the suspect from video surveillance cameras.
