Suspects sought in cigarette theft
The Second Precinct Crime Section is searching for a man and woman who stole nearly $200 worth of cigarettes from a Huntington Station beverage shop in April, Suffolk police said.
Police have released photos of the two suspects taken from video surveillance cameras at the Thrifty Beverage Store, 1687 New York Ave.
On April 26 at about 2 p.m., the man and woman entered the store, police said. The woman walked to the back of the store and the man went behind the counter, taking two cartons of cigarettes valued at $192.
The man left the store after taking the cigarettes and the woman left shortly after.
