According to the police, on Nov. 17 a man's wallet and GPS were stolen from his vehicle and a credit card found in the wallet was later used at a McDonald's on Suffolk Avenue in Brentwood and a CVS on Main Street in East Islip. Credit: SCPD

Suffolk County police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man sought  in a theft from a car in Brentwood in November.

According to the police, a  wallet and GPS appliance were stolen from a  vehicle on Nov. 17. A credit card  in the wallet was later used at a McDonald's on Suffolk Avenue in Brentwood and a CVS on Main Street in East Islip.

The suspect is described by police as a  male about 5-foot-4 with a medium build  and between the ages of 18 and 23. He was wearing a white jacket. Another man, wearing a dark jacket, is shown with the suspect on video surveillance.

The two were shown leaving in what appeared to be a Mitsubishi Eclipse convertible that was either dark red or maroon.

Anyone who has information regarding this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. A cash reward of up to $5,000 has been offered for information leading to an arrest. All calls will be kept confidential.
