SUV hits tree on Connetquot Avenue in Great River, cops say

Suffolk County police said they are investigating why a sport utility vehicle crashed into a tree in Great River.
The vehicle struck the tree on Connetquot Avenue at Montauk Highway at midnight Monday, a police spokesman said.
There were no serious injuries and no criminality, the spokesman said.
