A 17-year-old from Sag Harbor was arrested Monday in a string of village burglaries, Sag Harbor Village police said.

Devin K. Brevard, of 73 Walker Ave., was arraigned Tuesday on eight counts of second-degree felony burglary, one count of third-degree felony grand larceny in the theft of a motor vehicle and four counts of fourth-degree misdemeanor criminal possession of stolen property. He was released after posting a $2,000 cash bail.

Police said "several of the stolen items" were recovered during a search of Brevard's home.

The burglaries were committed between July and September, police said. Police are asking anyone who may have information regarding the cases to call them at 631-725-0623.

Brevard could not be reached for comment Tuesday afternoon. It was unclear whether he had an attorney.

Additional details were not immediately available.
