Two men stole five military flags from a florist serving Calverton National Cemetery and broke the flagpoles, Suffolk police said.

Two men in their early 20s broke into National Floral Design in Ridge at 11 p.m. Tuesday, police said. The suspects broke flagpoles that stood on the side of the building, then stole the flags before fleeing, police said. The flags represented the five branches of the military.

National Floral Design is a memorial florist serving the Calverton cemetery.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
