A 30-year-old man was found dead in the remains of a burned-out camper in the driveway of his Bohemia home early Thursday, police said.

Fifth Precinct officers, responding to a 911 call at 4:10 a.m., found Thomas Gangi dead inside the camper on Bourne Boulevard, Suffolk County police said.

No one else was in the camper, police said. None of the occupants of the home was injured, police said.

The cause of the fire is undetermined, but appears to be noncriminal, according to police, who said the homicide squad and arson section are investigating.

Police said Gangi lived at the home but was sleeping in the camper at the time of the fire.
