Three injured after 7-11 crash

Three people were taken to the hospital after a car crashed into a 7-Eleven store on Medford Avenue in East Patchogue, Suffolk County Police said.

The car had gone into the store after being struck by another vehicle around noon Tuesday, police said.

The Suffolk County Police emergency services unit was called to extricate a person from the car, police said.

The three had minor injuries, police said, but they could not provide details as to which of the two vehicles the injured were in.

The fire marshal and building inspector were on the scene, police said just after 3 p.m.
