Three people were injured, one seriously, in a two-car collision Monday night in Mastic.

Suffolk County police said none of the injuries was life-threatening, though one person was airlifted to Stony Brook University Medical Center suffering from head trauma.

The crash occurred at 8:49 p.m. on Moriches-Middle Island Road just west of Barnes Road, police said. Police said a 1987 Buick crossed the double yellow line and struck a 1995 GMC Suburban head-on. There were four people in the vehicles, police said.

Two of the others suffered lesser injuries.

No charges were filed as a result of the crash, police said.
