A routine traffic stop in Noyack led to the arrest of two brothers early Thursday morning, one charged with driving while intoxicated and the other with drug possession, police said.

Evan Derobertis, 30, of Water Mill, was charged with DWI and multiple traffic infractions, including failure to maintain his lane of travel and driving to the left of pavement markings, Southampton Town police said. His brother, Andrew Derobertis, 33, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. Arraignment details were not immediately known.

Police said the traffic stop occurred at 2:22 a.m. Thursday on Roses Grove Road.

Police said that after the stop officers determined that Evan Derobertis was "operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol." Police said officers found Andrew Derobertis was in possession of marijuana and cocaine.
