Trespass charge for man after copper thefts

A Riverhead man was arrested and charged with criminal trespass Thursday after an alarm was triggered at a business in Mattituck where copper has been stolen recently, Southold Town Police said.

Wyatt Duvall, 32, of Red Bird Place, was found near the scene on Sound Avenue and arrested at 1:41 a.m., police said. Police are still looking for a second man.

Police did not identify the business that was targeted.
