A truck hit an overpass on a Long Island Expressway service road Thursday morning in Farmingville, briefly closing the north service road at Exit 62, Waverly Avenue, the state Department of Transportation said.

Officials said the accident occurred at 11:01 a.m. No one was injured, the Suffolk County Sheriff's Department said.

The DOT said the road was closed at 11:14 a.m. and reopened at 1:08 p.m.

It was not immediately clear how the truck hit the overpass or what kind of truck was involved.
