TVs, computers swiped from Quogue house
Police are looking for suspects after a burglary of an empty house netted three televisions, a computer and a 24-inch monitor, police said.
Quogue Village police said a 55-inch Samsung TV, a 28-inch Insignia TV, an 18-inch Sony TV, an Apple computer and a computer monitor were taken from a house on Ocean Avenue in Quogue. The items were taken sometime between Feb. 12 at 3 p.m. and 8 a.m. Feb. 14.
The home was unoccupied.
A full-sized gray van with out-of-state plates was spotted in the area around the time of the break-in. Police are searching for the vehicle.
Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 800-22-TIPS. Calls to Crime Stoppers are anonymous, police said, and anyone with information leading to an arrest is eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000.
