Two Suffolk drivers were arrested and charged in separate incidents, police said.

State Police said Ashley R. Dechent, 21, of Commack was stopped on the Southern State Parkway near Exit 43, Route 111 in Central Islip, on Wednesday at 3:30 a.m. and was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after she failed a field sobriety test.

Police said she had a blood-alcohol content of .15 percent. The legal limit in New York is .08 percent.

Police said Jasmine E. Luyster, 30, of Selden was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs after she was stopped at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday on the northbound Sagtikos Parkway near Pine Aire Drive in Brentwood. Police said blood tests were pending in that arrest and could not immediately provide details.

Arraignment details also were not available.
