One of the two men arrested also was charged with drug possession after police said officers found a vial of anabolic steroids.
Police said Dillon Cassidy, 23, of Jamesport, was stopped after an officer said he failed to maintain his lane of travel on Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays at 2:57 a.m. Cassidy was determined to be intoxicated and also was found to have steroids, police said.
He was charged with DWI and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.
In an earlier incident, police said Juan Ochoa, 21, of Southampton, was arrested at 2:17 a.m. and charged with DWI after he was stopped on North Magee Street.
Both men are scheduled for arraignment Thursday in Southampton Town Justice Court.
