Two sought in Riverhead school break-in

They smashed two cafeteria windows with a brick and stole a fire extinguisher and a computer register system containing cash, police said.
But the two burglars who broke into the Riverhead Middle School on Harrison Avenue on Saturday, Oct. 29, also left something behind -- images of themselves on surveillance video, Suffolk County police said.
One wore a red hooded jacket. The other wore a black leather jacket, red T-shirt and dark jeans.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the crime to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
