Two workers hurt as scaffolding collapses

Two workmen on a home siding job in Lindenhurst were injured Tuesday after the scaffolding they were on collapsed, Suffolk police said.
A 40-year-old Massapequa man suffered head injuries, and a 41-year-old Farmingdale man may have broken at least one leg, police said.
Both men, who work for Monster Home Improvements, were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, police said. The accident happened about 4:10 p.m. at a two-story home 33rd Street, police said.
The homeowners and the home improvement company could not be reached for comment.
