Two people were injured when a U-Haul van drove up a guard rail late Tuesday and overturned before landing under a bridge over the Long Island Expressway, Suffolk County police said.

Initial indications are that neither person was seriously injured in the crash at 10:32 p.m. onto the embankment near Exit 67 in Yaphank, police said.

The van toppled off the on Yaphank Avenue andbridge over the expressway and onto the ground below, but off the roadway, a police spokeswoman said.

No other information was immediately available.
