Semenova family, of Huntington, takes in Yermakova family, from Ukraine, including a serious gymnast 

A Ukrainian woman, Yuliia Yermakova, and her two children, Andrii, 13, and Emiliia, 11, fled to Yuliia's childhood friend Svetlana Semenova's Huntington home amid the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The community has come to their aid; gifts including a guitar and a gymnastics scholarship have made the transition a little easier, they said.
