Suffolk County police are hoping the public can help identify a bicyclist who was killed Saturday morning in Lake Ronkonkoma.

The man was riding his bike about 2 a.m. near Lorraine Court when he collided with Kristine Costantino, 28, of Holbrook, who was driving a 2003 Chevrolet westbound on Express Drive North, officials said.

The bicyclist, who police said pulled out in front of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was described as a white male with long dark hair in his mid-30s, about 5-feet-9 and about 229 pounds, officials said. He was wearing a racing T-shirt and gray shorts and riding a light-green Ross 10-speed bicycle.

"There are no criminal charges at this time," a police spokeswoman said.

Anyone with information about the bicyclist's identity should contact Suffolk County police at 631-854-8400.
