Police are investigating at least seven instances of vandalism at five Long Island parks over the past four weeks.

Suffolk County police say someone knocked over 10 recently planted trees and pulled three others out of the ground at Veterans Park in Fort Salonga last Saturday.

On Wednesday, graffiti was found in the men's and women's rooms at John Walsh Park in East Northport.

The vandalism began on Oct. 14, when someone used a large rock to damage the men's room at Heckscher Park. Four sinks and toilets also were damaged in the women's restroom at Heckscher on Oct. 29.

Vandalism also has been found at Mill Dam Park and Wolf Hill Park.
