The MTA, parent agency of the railroad, said the vehicle delayed the 6:12 a.m. eastbound train from Penn Station, which had been due in Ronkonkoma at 7:32 a.m., for 37 minutes, a spokeswoman said.

The westbound 6:40 a.m. train from Ronkonkoma, due in Penn Station at 7:59 a.m., was delayed 38 minutes, the spokeswoman said.
