Motorcyclist Victor Cinelli killed in Holbrook crash, cops say

A Bohemia man was killed Sunday when his motorcycle was hit by a car in Holbrook, Suffolk County police said.
Victor Cinelli was driving a 1989 Honda motorcycle west on Portion Road at about 7:40 p.m. when he was struck by a 1997 Toyota Avalon that was making a left turn onto Holbrook Road, police said.
Cinelli, 55, was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Abdullah Ozturk, 58, of Franklin Square, the driver of the Avalon, also was taken to Stony Brook with neck and back injuries, police said.
Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks, and police said the investigation is continuing.
