Vincent Denino of Melville dies after crash, police say
A 68-year-old man, critically injured when he struck an embankment and overturned his vehicle while entering his driveway in Melville on Sunday, died Wednesday, police said.
Suffolk County police said that Vincent Denino, injured in the crash on Mary Court Sunday at about 3:40 p.m., died at Northwell Health Plainview Hospital, where he was taken after the accident.
Second Squad detectives said earlier this week they were investigating if Denino suffered a medical episode behind the wheel of 2015 Mercedes-Benz just before the crash.
