A Nesconset teen struck and killed by a subway train Tuesday will be memorialized this weekend.

Visiting for Liam Armstrong will be Saturday at Maloney Funeral Home, 840 Wheeler Rd., Hauppauge, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be held at Parish of the Holy Cross at 95 Old Nichols Rd., Nesconset, at 11 a.m. Monday.

Armstrong was a senior at Smithtown High School East and was celebrating his 18th birthday with friends when he tried to cross the subway tracks on foot on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. He was killed by a northbound No. 2 train.

Friends say Armstrong was affable and outgoing, and well-liked by fellow students.
