Wellwood Avenue closed in both directions in East Farmingdale

An accident at Wellwood Avenue and Conklin Street in East Farmingdale has snarled traffic going both north and south.

Suffolk police said a dump truck making a right turn onto Wellwood Avenue turned over at about 5:45 a.m. Saturday. There were no injuries in the crash.

Traffic remains closed on Wellwood Avenue near the intersection, about one and a half mile north of Exit 35 of the Southern State Parkway.
