Suffolk police are investigating a shooting in West Babylon that has left a man injured, a spokeswoman confirmed.

Police said Christian Warren was in front of his home at 87 Wright St. at about 4:30 p.m. Monday when he was shot by a person who fired from a vehicle. Warren, 21, was struck in the face and transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip. He was later transferred to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was listed in serious but stable condition.

The circumstances of the shooting were not clear Monday night.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call the First Squad at 631-854-8152 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
