West Bay Shore street reopens after crash
Suffolk County police are investigating a motor-vehicle accident that closed a West Bay Shore street for more than five hours early Monday.
A police spokeswoman said the department received a call about a car hitting a pole on Orinoco Drive near Manor Lane at 2:41 a.m.
She had no immediate update on injuries but said police were still at the scene investigating after 8 a.m. and that Orinoco Drive remained closed.
A spokeswoman said that the road had been reopened at about noon but still had no details on the accident, including possible injuries.
