Westbound LIE in Hauppauge reopens after crash

All lanes of the westbound Long Island Expressway between exits 56 and 55 in Hauppauge have reopened after a multivehicle accident, police said.
Police said the department received a call at 5:23 p.m. about the accident, and the road reopened within an hour.
Police said there did not appear to be any serious injuries.
