Westbound Route 109 in West Babylon remained closed Friday night as PSEG Long Island crews work to repair power lines pulled down in a single-vehicle crash.

Both directions of the roadway near the Sunrise Highway overpass were closed starting about 2 a.m., according to Suffolk County police.

As crews worked on the damaged pole and lines, eastbound lanes reopened at 6:45 a.m. and the westbound lanes remained closed as of 8:15 p.m.

A police spokeswoman said she had no information regarding injuries.
