Officials: Sunrise Hwy. in North Amityville reopens after crash

Westbound lanes of Sunrise Highway were closed for more than four hours Friday morning between Bayview and Albany avenues in North Amityville, officials said.
Suffolk County police said an accident with injuries was reported at the intersection of the highway and Albany Avenue at 4:51 a.m. and lanes were being reopened shortly after 9:30 a.m.
